1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Ridercom mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Ridercom provides live voice channel functionality that allows users to create, join, and participate in real-time voice communication channels. The App also includes a Follow Me feature that allows users to share their live location with other riders in real time. The service is designed for motorcycle riders to communicate and stay connected during group rides.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Accounts
- You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or objectionable content through voice channels.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
- Use the App in any way that could impair its performance or functionality.
- Use the App while operating a vehicle in any manner that violates local traffic laws.
6. Location Sharing
- The Follow Me feature allows you to share your real-time location with riders who follow you.
- Location sharing requires your explicit permission and is entirely optional.
- Your location data (position, heading, speed, battery level, signal strength) is shared in real time and is automatically deleted when you stop sharing or close the app.
- We do not store, sell, or share your location history with any third party.
- You can stop sharing your location at any time from within the app or by revoking location permissions in your device settings.
- You are responsible for managing who can follow you. You can block or report riders at any time.
7. Safety Disclaimer
Important: Ridercom is a communication and tracking tool. You are solely responsible for your safety while riding. Always follow local traffic laws and ride responsibly. Do not allow the use of this App to distract you from safe riding practices. The Follow Me and navigation view features are intended as aids, not replacements for attentive riding. Ridercom is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of the App while riding.
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ridercom and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Voice Channel Content
- Voice channels are live and are not recorded or stored by Ridercom.
- You are responsible for any content you transmit through voice channels.
- Ridercom does not monitor voice channel content but reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Service Availability
Ridercom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridercom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of the App.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
